Topic of the season: Shabbat.

Shabbat, the weekly Sabbath, is like a great big deep breath; a "palace in time," a place for awareness of the sacred.   Not to mention the ancient connotations of  nature, family, and  love (Not sure where soccer comes in, but in our house, alas, it does).   And it also involves really great  braided bread, called challah.  The two challah covers below celebrate all of the above.
